Bring yourselves and your kids,
Bring out your drums, noisemakers and pots and pans!
As we fill the streets of Seaton Village with “music”

 

10 am

Open Tuning Festival Kick Off and & Kidz Jam at Vermont Square Park

 Get ready to make some noise and sing along to some great tunes as Russel Leon leads children, and adults, in a singalong.

 

 

12pm

  Ukulele jam

 Jviva_la_ukulele_by_rathawkoin Adam Platek for a gathering of the Ukuleles as we rock out to some great songs! – check back soon for a list of songs to be jammed upon.  Some extra instruments will be made available for the Ukeless.

2 pm

Yee Haw Bluegrass jam:

Bring your banjees – bring your gueetars. Don’t forget your fiddles, spoons, jugs and whatchamacallits. All skill levels are welcome to join in this jam led by Tom Bellman and Jeff Dunk with vocalist Lis Soderberg jammin-in.  Or just bring a voice instrument and some country in your soul

 

10pm  

Festival Closing Performance and Public Jam

As all other venues will be closing between 9 and 10pm, there will  be a gathering in Vermont Square Park.  Please everyone bring your instruments and your voices.

Gwyllum Open tuning_Special guests Gwyllym the international soccer star will perform a few tricks along with a  song (hint) or two led by his singing sidekick Jane Siberry .

We will finish the festival and the evening with a final festival wide jam.  Get ready to join tons of people in singing and playing.
