Learn About Volunteer Opportunities at Open Tuning: a Free Music Festival

On Monday March 7th, at 7:30pm, Open Tuning  Music Festival organizers will be holding an informal information session.  Anyone interested in getting involved is welcome to join us at the Victory Cafe 581 Markham St. (meet upstairs –  reserved table). We need volunteers, venue/stage hosts/operators, musicians – you name it!

Now in its 3rd year, Open Tuning is 100% DIY and community volunteer driven –  no compensation, no advertising, no sponsorship involved.  It’s simply about the love of music – hosting, creating, performing and experiencing. Please come by and introduce yourself let us know what you are interested in – we’ll bring our list of specific festival volunteer opportunities.

ABOUT THIS EVENT: Open Tuning is a free DIY festival celebrating live music through creating, performing and experiencing. Inspired by “La fete de la musique” in Paris France, Toronto’s 3rd annual Open Tuning Music Festival will take place on June 11th, 2016, from 2p.m. to 10:00 p.m. downtown in Seaton Village. Musicians from all genres, ages, and levels of experience are invited to join at venues such as porches, alleyways, garages, and street corners throughout the neighbourhood.
